Level 2 Yoga

REQUIRES 6+ MONTHS OF ALIGNMENT-BASED LEVEL 1 OR ALL LEVELS YOGA.  While still focusing on yoga foundations, this class introduces more challenging poses and also introduces more Sanskrit terminology. This is an alignment-based class.

Back Care Yoga

SUITABLE FOR ANYONE. Learn yoga poses specifically selected to help prevent and improve chronic back pain. You'll strengthen your posture and alignment of the neck and spine, relieve tight muscles and improve shoulder, back, and hip flexibility.

Chair Yoga

Experience breathing exercises and simple stretches in a safe, comfortable seated position that helps you strengthen muscles and joints, increase your range of motion and flexibility, and relieve stress. Your instructor helps you adjust each pose based on your individual comfort level. Classes include optional supported standing and floor variations. Easily incorporates use of a walker, cane, or wheelchair. Also a good class choice if you wish to avoid prolonged standing or getting up/down from the floor.

Ideal for seasoned beginners as well as more advanced students. Your teacher tailors modifications and gentle individual feedback to each student's ability in this alignment-based class.

MELT Method

Experience changes in how your body looks and feels. The connective tissue in your body gets dehydrated and causes common aches and pains. MELT helps to rehydrate this essential system in your body for vibrant health and pain-free movement! In this class we will use the MELT Hand & Foot Therapy Balls and the Soft Foam Roller. (This is not a yoga class)

Restorative Yoga

Our bodies have an innate ability to relax given the right circumstances. Restorative yoga uses a series of easy, supported poses held for a long time under the right conditions (including the use of many props) to tip the balance from “fight or flight” mode into maximal relaxation. Yogis developed these poses over many years, but science tells us that, under the conditions set in restorative yoga, immediate effects on heart rate, blood pressure and brain activity are possible. Emphasis on complete muscular relaxation and comfort are emphasized to achieve a quiet state of mind and body. The classes are in the style of Relax & Renew author, Judith Lasater.

Strength Training Yoga

At least 3 months of prior yoga experience required.  We will use your own body weight, the Yoga Wall, and other yoga props to improve strength in your core + upper and lower body.

Yoga for Osteoporosis

In this class we will practice Dr. Loren Fishman’s 12 Yoga Poses for Osteoporosis. This class is for anyone who wants to build bone strength but especially those who have been diagnosed with osteopenia or osteoporosis.

Yoga Wall

REQUIRES 3+ MONTHS OF ALL LEVELS OR LEVEL 1 YOGA CLASSES and have used the Yoga Wall in at least one other class. Meet our yoga playground! Practice basic poses more confidently and progress to more challenging standing poses, back bends, forward bends, inversions & more. Our Yoga Walls use semi-suspension and natural gravity to help you increase your flexibility, lengthen the spine and deepen poses while recruiting otherwise disengaged muscles and reducing pressure on certain parts of the body.

Restorative + Yoga Nidra

Enjoy an hour of restorative yoga followed by guided relaxation in what is known as “yogic sleep.”  Nidra brings us to a state of deep relaxation, where our senses, intellect, and mind can completely let go and rest. One hour of this yogic sleep is said to give the same benefit as four hours of sleep. Nidra helps decrease fatigue, rejuvenate the brain, reduce stress, increase concentration, and improve memory. Experience a spiritual awakening while enhancing overall energy.

Enjoy a class for all levels of students (but not brand new) where you move dynamically through poses and also experience longer holds of poses. Students need to be able to balance without support + move up and down from the floor with ease.
