Discover growth, balance & peace
History
Valerie Kiser founded Sunrise Yoga in 2003, welcoming students from Clemmons, Lewisville, Mocksville and the Winston-Salem area to the studio.
Sunrise subsequently achieved Yoga Alliance recognition as a Registered Yoga School (RYS). The Sunrise Yoga Teacher Training program launched in 2009, and the East Coast Yoga Therapy program she co-founded gained IAYT accreditation in 2018. It is among the first 30 yoga therapy training programs worldwide to receive accreditation.
Winston-Salem's "Best Yoga Studio"
Named Winston-Salem's Best Yoga Studio year after year after year, Sunrise is a welcoming and lighthearted yoga studio dedicated to providing a safe, educational and fun environment where you feel the pressures of daily life leave your body and mind as you enter.
Here, you'll rediscover your body and mind's strength, flexibility, focus and purpose in a high-speed world in a peaceful, calming atmosphere…softly colored walls, dimmed lights, and two spacious studio spaces.
